Summary and Learning Objectives

Summary

So many believers are living a divided life; their faith says one thing, but their trauma screams another. They love God, they know Scripture, yet their bodies still react as though danger is present. Shame tells them they should “be over it,” but trauma does not bow to knowledge; it responds to healing and truth. In this workshop for coaches and ministry leaders, participants will confront a life-changing reality: triggers reveal where the client’s trauma is so they can finally see truth. They are not signs of spiritual weakness; they are invitations to restoration. This session takes participants deep into the emotional and spiritual gap that fuels anxiety, dysregulation, and identity confusion in the people we serve. Attendees will learn to help clients locate the wound beneath the trigger, identify the lie it produced, and realign their emotional world with God’s promises.

Learning Objectives

Identify trauma-driven triggers and their emotional, relational, and spiritual impact.

Apply the “Trigger-to-Truth” model to uncover root wounds and restore biblical identity.
