Summary and Learning Objectives

Summary

Healthy families know how to slow down and live in ways that allow them to intentionally build into their family’s relational and spiritual fabric. For families to enjoy life together and live at a healthy pace, they must develop daily practices and rhythms of prioritizing quality time, prayer, speaking words of high value over one another, and keeping every family member’s heart open. Joy and deep connection are based on factors and skills families can do something about in any season or stage of life. Pastors, teachers, preachers, coaches, pastoral counselors and ministry leaders need practical tools to help spouses, parents and children cultivate a close-knit family. There’s no such thing as a perfect family. This workshop seeks to give families the permission to learn and grow in their walk with Jesus and each other.
